What ho! Welcome to Lord Johnny Duxbury’s 1926 Christmas party, where the roaring twenties are in full swing. Meet Mitsy Wellbeloved, the flibbertigibbet, and Henry ‘Pongo’ Brinkley, heir to a fortune, in search of culture and a wife. Join London’s bright young things as they party the night away until Inspector Catchem arrives with news of a murder. Help Lord Duxbury’s guests avoid scandal and keep their allowances. Valentine Crush runs the successful Hungry Hearts dating and dining agency. She promises to find you the partner of your dreams while enjoying a delicious meal. Her strategy is to really get to know her clients, not just their likes and dislikes but their hopes and dreams, their fears and their fetishes. When Valentine is found dead in her offices, shot through the heart, Inspector Willy Catchem starts to wonder whether she knew too much and visits Lythe Hill to talk to her clients.

The Tam o’Shanter
The year is 1922 and Miss Audrey Burns, a descendant of famous poet  Robert Burns, is staying at Lythe Hill with her mentor, Reverend McDougal. She had been ill, and she hopes that the air of the Surrey Hills might do her good. Indeed, after a month at Lythe Hill Miss Burns’ health is back in fine fettle. She has held several parties and is holding her family’s traditional Burns Night Supper at the house this evening.

Miss Burns’ body is found in the woods, the night after the spectre of the infamous Tam o’Shanter is seen in the house. Who would have wanted to kill the charming Audrey? Join Inspector Catchem as he tries to solve this case, finding Method, Motive and Murderer.
