Update following the easing of restrictions from Monday 19th July
At Lythe Hill Hotel, we are continuing to take the safety of all our guests and staff into careful consideration. Even with the Government lifting of the majority of the restrictions from the 19th July, please read below about the steps we have in place to help continue to keep everyone safe.
Track and Trace
The NHS Track and Trace will still be in place and available for you to use if you wish.
Staff will continue to wear face coverings in public areas. We also encourage our guests to wear them when moving around the hotel or when in close proximity to others (e.g. spa treatments) or when in a confined space. If you choose not to wear a mask, then please be considerate of other guests and staff and keep a safe distance.
We still recommend keeping a safe distance from others who are not in your party wherever possible. Please continue to follow any guidance or signage around the hotel.
Perspex screens will remain in place and we still recommend that guests remain 2m apart if queuing at the desk. Keys should be returned to the dedicated drop point on check out so it can be disinfected. All PDQ machines, pens etc will be wiped down after each guest use.
Reception and Bar areas
At the reception and bar areas contactless card payments will be preferable. Perspex screens will be present to minimise any risk during interactions between staff members and guests.
You will find sanitising stations located throughout the hotel.
We will still be seating a maximum of 6 guests at one table for dining.
If you have over 6 people in your party, please contact us in advance to discuss your seating options.
We’ve enhanced our in-room cleaning programmes to pay extra attention to critical touch points and removed some soft furnishings
No access will be made to your room during your stay. If you require housekeeping or maintenance you will be asked to vacate your room.
Our fantastic Housekeeping Team has been fully trained on the use of PPE. We clean all of our surfaces thoroughly and regularly with anti-bacterial products.
Spa therapists will continue to wear masks during treatments. Although not mandatory for clients to wear masks, as it is a close proximity activity, we do encourage their use to help protect our staff.
We continue to operate a booking system for our pool.
Disinfectant products will be available throughout the health club and we ask that equipment is cleaned and disinfected before and after each use
Guests are encouraged to use their rooms for changing and members to arrive “gym/swim ready” where possible.
How you can help during your stay:
If you display symptoms
Please do not come to the resort if you or a member of your household have displayed any of the following symptoms within the last 14 days: a cough, fever, breathlessness, sore throat, headaches, loss of taste or smell – unless they are symptoms of a pre-existing medical condition. Instead, please call our reservations team at your earliest convenience to reschedule your stay. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse entry or cancel your reservation should you display any symptoms on arrival.
If you develop symptoms during your stay
Please remain in your room and call the reception desk for further assistance from our team.
Please adhere to social distancing throughout the resort, use the markers and guides to help you.
Please follow one way systems and use the correct entry and exit doors that are marked.
We ask all guests to regularly wash their hands for 20 seconds
Please make us of our sanitiser stations throughout the resort – especially before dining
Please use card payments and contactless where possible
We will not service your room during your stay. You can request this service and if you require housekeeping during your stay you will be asked to leave your room so social distancing can be maintained
We request that you always remain considerate of our guests and staff. This is a new normal for all of us and we are working hard to ensure all our guests and staff feel comfortable and safe during their time with us. We ask you to keep in mind that many people will be nervous for some time, so even if you are feeling more relaxed, we ask you to respect the measures that are in place so Lythe Hill can be a place for all to enjoy.
Thank you for your co-operation and we wish you a very pleasant stay with us.
